Tower of Flames is the third Stage of Death Mountain in Four Swords Adventures.[1] It is where the Green Maiden is being held hostage. Although few Enemies are encountered in this Dungeon, there are many hazards and fire traps such as rotating flame pillars and fire shooting statues. Large parts of the Dungeon are also covered by lava pits.
In addition to Shadow Link, the four Links will also encounter a Ball and Chain Soldier as a Sub-Boss, whose ball happens to ignite fire.
Near the end of the Dungeon, the four Links meet a lone, but talkative Goron. Apparently he entered the tower in order to vanquish the monster around, but accidentally dropped the Bombs he brought with him into the lava pits.[2] He then advises the four Links on how to defeat the Enemies, namely a group of Dodongos.[3] After acquiring Bombs the four Links defeat the Dodongos, they head out to a terrace were they once again meet Kaepora Gaebora, who warn them of the evil that as struck Hyrule Castle.[4] They then proceed to rescue the Green Shrine Maiden.
