Turakamik Shrine

From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia

The Turakamik Shrine,[1] designated by the trial name Hidden Metal,[1] is a Shrine of Light in Tears of the Kingdom.

Entrance to the Shrine

The Turakamik Shrine can be found on the western end of the Gerudo Canyon in the Gerudo Highlands, overlooking the Gerudo Canyon Stable. It corresponds with the Kimakarut Lightroot in the Depths.

Themes and Navigation

Inside Turakamik Shrine is a metal ball on a chain attached to an Electricity Generator. Connecting the ball to a second one will power a large Gear that Link can stand on to reach the next area. On the wall, two more metal balls on chains can be joined to each other. Doing this activates four moving platforms higher up the wall that Link can Ascend through. A third ball on a chain must be connected to a metal bar sticking out of the wall in order to open the door to the end of the Shrine. However, the chain is not long enough for the two objects to reach. Link can use Ultrahand to dislodge the metal axle of a second large Gear. He can also use Recall on the Gear to reverse its direction and stand on it to reach a Treasure Chest. Attaching the axle to the ball lets Link proceed to the end of the Shrine, where he can interact with the Terminal and receive a Light of Blessing.
