Kudanisar Shrine
The Kudanisar Shrine,[1] designated by the trial name Bridging the Sands,[1] is a Shrine of Light in Tears of the Kingdom.
Entrance to the Shrine
The Kudanisar Shrine is a Shrine of Light on the Surface. It is located near the entrance to Karusa Valley in the Gerudo Desert. It corresponds to the Rasinaduk Lightroot in the Gerudo Desert Depths.
The Kudanisar Shrine is composed of one gigantic room separated into segments. A river of Quicksand flows throughout the Shrine of Light, pushing to crushers made with Spikes. Boards can be found floating across the surface of the Quicksand, acting as platforms for Link to rest on as he crosses the river.
In the first segment, Link is caged in the entrance, and must cross over the gate to enter the rest of the Shrine. In the main portion, there are Vehicles made from Sleds, Steering Sticks, and Fans. Beyond the gate and directly across from the entrance, there is a raised platform that houses the end of the Shrine. However, it is barred by a portcullis controlled by a Concave Slot. On the opposite side of the platform from the Concave Slot, there is a Floor Switch and a Tilted Platform, which sits underneath a dispenser in the ceiling. By pressing the Floor Switch, the dispenser will drop an orb, which will immediately be pushed to the other side of the Shrine by the Tilted Platform. The orb lands inside a caged area guarded by Soldier Constructs.
This caged area can be entered by using Ascend while standing underneath the horizontal grates surrounding it. Inside, there is another Floor Switch that controls the portcullis to the chamber and two more Vehicles that Link can escape with. By returning the orb to the Concave Slot, Link can find a Statue of Rauru and Sonia. By interacting with the Terminal in front of the Statue, Link can receive a Light of Blessing to cleanse the corruption of Darkness from within him.[2][3]
